Key accountabilities
- Provide standardized regular and reliable financial information by function and project, including actual performance against cost saving initiatives
- Be the key point of contact in finance for all investment spend and project activity
- Operate key control activities / adherence to accounting policies (GRNI, severance, Fixed Assets / impairment etc.), providing assurance that the information reported is materially accurate and complete
- Manage the process to capitalize costs in line with accounting policies (projects and BAU)
- Provide initial high level commentary - month & YTD performance e.g. supplier, FTE and initiative variances
- Provide functional and project scorecard data where based on actual cost performance
- Support external reporting (e.g. BoE, PRA and the annual report and accounts etc.) where based on actual cost performance
As a Project Cost Analyst you will be given autonomy over the accounting for all of our project spending. This role will see you gaining immediate exposure to our key stakeholders and influence where our costs are allocated. This role will suit someone who enjoys the operational but is also willing to put their name out there and be a driving force in taking our team to success.
