Job Description

We’re currently recruiting for a passionate and driven Deputy Financial Accountant to support the Financial Accountant, on a 3 month fixed term contract in our Financial Services team.

Using your high levels of financial expertise, you’ll contribute to the management of accounting processes; including completion of financial returns to NHSI. What’s more, you’ll maintain and develop balance sheet coding guidance for the whole of Finance to use including monitoring balance sheets to ensure adherence and highlighting any exceptions.

As for you personally, you’ll be a positive individual with a “can do attitude”, with the ability to communicate facts and ideas to others effectively. You will be a strong leader who works collaboratively with their team to secure a high level of commitment, trust and energy. Inevitably, you’ll be an analytical thinker with the tenacity to complete complex calculations at ease.

The interviews for this vacancy have been scheduled via MS Teams and will be held on Wednesday 11th November 2020.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You’ll be CCAB or CIMA qualified with experience of Financial Accounting in a large organization, understanding the NHS and the Trust Financial Regime alongside the knowledge and understanding of strategic NHS issues and priorities are vitally important.
