The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts for the Group
Tracking costs against Budget to identify cost savings/ efficiencies
Monthly reporting and financial analysis on P&L and Balance sheet
Prepare quarterly financial reporting information for investors
Ownership of the parent company P&L and balance sheet and checking accuracy
Performing audit quality reconciliations across P&L and balance sheet
Reviewing accounting policies and check financial statement in line with accounting standards
Supporting with internal and external audit requirements
Reviewing and setting up weekly payment runs
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Liaising with third parties i.e. External auditors, banks, HMRC
Supporting and covering the Financial Controller with any other ad-hoc duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Degree educated with at least 2:1 or above Strong technical reporting and Excel skills Ability to work under pressure in a very fast paced, agile environment Ability to adapt to change Must have experience in a similar accounting role, in a similar sized company and team with exposure to foreign currency Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and a real team player Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously and use own initiative essential Results driven with high levels of integrity and accuracy
