Job Description
Key Areas of Responsibility;
Financial Reporting
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts for the Group
- Track costs against Budget to identify cost savings/ efficiencies
- Monthly reporting and financial analysis on P&L and Balance sheet
- Prepare quarterly financial reporting information for investors
Financial Accounting
- Ownership of the parent company P&L and balance sheet and checking accuracy
- Perform reconciliations across P&L and balance sheet
- Review accounting policies and check financial statement in line with accounting standards
- Support with internal and external audit requirements
Other
- Review and set up weekly payment runs
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Liaise with third parties i.e. External auditors, banks, HMRC
- Support the Finance Controller with any other ad-hoc duties as required
Essential
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Strong technical reporting and excel skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change
- Must have experience in a similar accounting role
Desirable
- Experience in the technology sector
- Knowledge of operating Acumatica
