Platinum are working with a UK leader hire a new Company Accountant to form part of the leadership team. The business has been resolute throughout the pandemic affecting us all and continued to thrive hence the need to up skill their existing finance operation with a senior appointment.

You will join a fantastically motivated team where their ethos is focused on “being proud of the work we undertake”. They are looking for someone who has worked as a Company Accountant previously and is looking for a genuine career role.

Your position will be to work closely with the Company Directors and handle the full accounting cycle on Sage Line 50 inclusive of liaison with the external accountants at year end. You will mentor an existing team of 2 staff who are fully adept and versed in their job roles so its more about aiding their development rather than training.

Working in this SME your role is pivotal to the continued success of the company therefore it is essential you have outstanding communication skills and enjoy dealing with all levels of personnel both internally and externally.

Qualifications are not as important as experience, so all applicants are welcomed from a professional accounting background.

Long term there are options for the role to develop further which will be driven by company performance and you showcasing your talent in accounting.
