Due to continued growth, a thriving £20m turnover business in Blackburn has an opportunity for an ambitious CIMA Part Qualified Accountant. This is an Assistant Financial Controller position, ideal career opportunity which will provide:

• Varied experience across management and financial accounts
• The chance to get involved in business-critical projects such as integration of a new acquisition
• Involvement in a major ERP system implementation.

As right hand person to the Financial Controller you will also be given the opportunity to take on some staff supervisory responsibility.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be considered for this role you should be proactively studying towards ACCA/CIMA and have a logical career path to date. A proactive nature is essential, strong systems skills are also required and as this is part of a succession planning exercise the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of motivation to qualify within 12 – 18 months and progress their career within the medium term.
