Job Description

The role is diverse and interesting with great opportunities to learn and progress. The work offers a great deal of exposure and covers many aspects. You will be responsible for the day to day management accounts and assisting the Head of Finance in running the department. The role will contribute to the ongoing strategic direction of the business. Your responsibilities will include production of the monthly Management Accounts, financial analysis, and the presentation of the management information, as well as day to day accounting tasks. You will be an effective partner to the business and excited about the opportunity to develop a productive relationship with non-finance colleagues.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for someone with experience in management accounts who has also worked in a fast-paced finance environment. The business requires a competent and diligent person who is commercially aware and can make key decisions that will impact on the business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with effective communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be highly numerate; highly organised and prepared to use initiative and challenge existing process. Naturally, you will be confident with the ability to build key relationships.
