A highly ambitious and entrepreneurial Digital Marketing company in South Manchester is looking for a newly qualified Management Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be part of the Senior Management team, you will play a key role in the decision making and development of the company as a whole, whilst having a hands-on approach to the accounting function.

As Management Accountant you have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company and so you will be expected to analyze figures and implement recommendations based on findings, with the most profitable outcomes.

This is a brilliant role which will develop into a Head of Finance role within the next 12-18 months so a brilliant opportunity to accelerate your career!

Key areas of focus will include:

• Monthly management accounts preparation and variance analysis;
• Year-end statutory accounts and audit process;
• Budget preparation, sign off, monitoring and rolling updates;
• Managing financial stakeholder relationships (investors and bank);
• Finance requirements driven by any M&A opportunities;
• Standard 'back office' administration and management;
• Implementing projects and processes to deliver operational efficiencies;
• Forecasting, monitoring, controlling and reporting on cash flow;
• Payroll: all aspects of payroll processing;
• Corporate and other tax compliance;
• Managing bank accounts: bank reconciliations, payment processing;
• Managing relationship with factoring company;
• Quarterly submission of VAT returns;
• Stat book upkeep - companies house filings, share certificates etc.;
• Supporting HR process management;
• Supporting delivery of existing operational MI and associated reports;
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of available business data to provide critical business insight.
