This role will offer the right person the opportunity to contribute to the exciting changes that are underway. The ideal candidate will be creative, driven, and ready to take ownership of the accounts process whist making a really big impact on this part of the business.

Duties:

• Liaising with the company's financial accounting provider for those aspects which are outsourced
• Monitoring reporting systems and ensuring the accuracy of the management accounts
• Providing a thorough analysis of the financial results and accurately interpreting the financial information to inform strategic and long-term business plans
• Develop financial management mechanisms to minimize risk
• Support the development of more junior staff
• Work in partnership with consultants to deliver a professional service to a combination of FTSE100 and Public sector clients

Remote working will be offered initially due to the current pandemic with the option to visit the offices as desired to suit the individual's preferences.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist Sound experience of demonstrating best practice within the accounts function of a busy, professional services company Ambitious and looking to be challenged to make an impact Innovative in your approach, bringing a continuous improvement mentality Excellent at building relationships with key stakeholders An inclusive, people orientated team member who thrives in a vibrant, collaborative environment
