Key Responsibilities

Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit an additional team member who will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of accounts and corporation tax returns
• Personal tax returns
• VAT returns
• Giving tax advice to clients
• Answering client queries
• Assisting junior members of the teams with their queries

Key Skills and Experience

Ideally, the candidate will be ACCA qualified although candidates will be considered who are qualified by experience.

What is core, is some knowledge about tax; savings; refunds; grants etc. Having a specialism in this area will massively benefit the applicant.

Sound working knowledge of varying software will also be advantageous.

The hours of work are flexible; a minimum of 28 hours per week over 5 days with the possibility of working 1 day remotely.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Being an accountant as always requires attention to detail, patience and being able to remain calm when under pressure. Being able to communicate and simplify matters to clients is also a quality our client will be looking for.
