Job Description

Your new role
Working within a finance team that provides a financial advisory service to business units, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless finance advice and support service to business units and will develop relationships with key stakeholders. You will facilitate the budget setting and planning process for your allocated businesses and will undertake detailed variance analysis. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (HR/Payroll/Finance) to produce accurate month-end reports and you will contribute to the income and expenditure reporting of the wider business. You will manage and motivate a small team and hold responsibility for staff development.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be a fully qualified Accountant (CA/ACMA/ACCA) with a proven track record of budget forecasting and planning, project costing and financial reporting. An excellent communicator with strong business partnering skills, you will have a proven track record of working closely with business units. You will be naturally inquisitive and will ideally have worked for a sizeable organisation. An interest in continuous improvement of processes and procedures would be highly advantageous. You will be a team player, capable of working autonomously and will an inquisitive nature to problem solve effectively.
