Job Description

They are now looking for a Senior Management Accountant to report into the Financial Controller. This is an urgent requirement and would therefore suitable someone who is immediately available or at least available to start within the next month.
-End to end preparation of month end accounts including P&L and balance sheet reporting
-Assist with the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, investigating and explaining any variances
-Ad hoc analysis around profitability to support business growth moving forward
-Process and controls improvement work designing value adding improvements
-Prepare relevant information for monthly management and P&L review meetings
-Produce meaningful reports highlighting any business risks
-Regular cash flow forecasting
-Implement any improvements across the month end process
-Assist with the production of year end accounts
-Mentoring junior members of the finance team with the potential to move into full time line management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will need to be a qualified accountant with strong cash management experience. You must be a hands on, roll your sleeves up accountant who is happy to support across all areas of finance when required.
