Working within an established team of 5 and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will responsible for putting together a set of accounts for one of their subsidiaries
Key duties as a Management Accountant include:
Month end preparation of prepayments, accruals and other relevant journals, with full review of Trial Balances and General Ledger, including Purchase and Sales Ledger.
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis, comparing actuals to both budget and forecast. Preparation and production of board reports within agreed deadlines, with detailed analytical review.
Monthly balance sheet, and P&L reconciliations for several companies within the Group.
Assist in preparation of annual company account packs for audit purposes. Liaise with Auditors, providing information as necessary
Work closely, and organize monthly meetings with Managers, reviewing and presenting management accounts.

Preparation of the annual management accounts budgets for strategic groups within the Group, alongside Financial Accountant. Liaising with Managers, to set budgets based on agreed costs and targets.
Assist Financial Accountant with improving processes and procedures within the finance function, to improve efficiency and accuracy
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally you will have 1-2 year’s experience in preparing management accounts as well as strong excel skills i.e. must be able perform pivot tables and v. lookup's
