I am currently recruiting for an exciting role to work for an established firm based in Romford/Hornchurch . The job will involve working within close knit team reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager on a Temp to Permanent Basis.
What is involved in the role?
As the Purchase Ledger/Accounts payable clerk, you will be responsible for dealing with a high volume of invoices and processing purchase and sales invoices along with general administration and Data entry.
What are we looking for in you?
This is an amazing opportunity for an accounts assistant/sales ledger clerk who comes from a motor industry background keen to get a hands on role within an established large UK business. You will need to pick up new systems quickly and be fully confident in all aspects of sales ledger including Credit notes and the general ledger. You will also fulfil the following duties:
Processing high volumes of invoices. Advanced Excel skills namely in VLOOKUPS PIVOT TABLES Processing high volumes of unpaid invoices Bank Reconciliations processing expenses and petty cash Raising cheques payments General administration
