Job Description

A growing ecommerce SME based in the heart of Manchester city center are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Working in a team of 3 and reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts for all areas, highlighting areas of concern
• Reviewing and preparing accruals and prepayments, ensuring accuracy to ledger
• Preparing data for KPI measurements, variance analysis, and investigation
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing and posting month-end journals
• Intercompany account reconciliation
• Liaising with the teams to ensure timely payments are made to factories
• Preparing quarterly VAT Returns and submitting to authorities via the portal, ensuring VAT liabilities are settled in a timely manner
• Reconciling VAT Returns to Nominal Ledger and investigating differences
• Preparing monthly Intrastat and EC Sales Lists
• Preparing and submitting statistical returns for ONS (UK) and others
