Your new role
You will be responsible for the full review of management accounts, including resolving queries and accuracy checks. You will prepare complex financial reporting packs consisting of consolidated accounts, revenue reconciliations, multi-currency, multi-territory and departmental reporting. You will review VAT returns, EC sales lists and Intrastat returns, arranging any payments necessary. Review of payment runs and online BACs payment submissions.

You will have your own portfolio of up to 15 clients, ensuring you maintain excellent relations, acting as the main point of contact. You will manage WIP and complete billing ; understanding client contracts, ensuring a thorough understanding of the contracted scope of work and agreeing additional fees where required. You will supervise and provide training for Accounts Assistants and Financial Administrators, in addition to liaising with teams across the firm together with international local service providers for completion of UK and global compliance tasks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA / ACCA qualified accountant Strong experience in reviewing full monthly management accounts, as well as preparation Current or very recent experience working in a UK based accountancy practice Strong IT skills including use of accountancy software Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Very strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with clients Smart and professional in appearance
