This will be a 6 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact for employees responding to general HR queries
- Triaging more complex queries to centres of excellence and subject matter experts
- Ensuring all new hire documentation is processed in a timely manner
- Initiating the pre-employment screening process with third party providers
- Entering new starter information onto the relevant systems, ensuring all documentation is present and correct
- Creating and maintaining SAP employee records and personnel files
- Ensuring end of probation letters are prepared and issued
- Updating relevant systems relating to sickness, holidays and absenteeism
- Processing maternity/paternity letters and adjustments accordingly
- Preparing and issuing leaver packs to employees leaving the business and calculate any outstanding holiday
- Undertaking quality checks of contracts, providing feedback to colleagues
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Working to agreed processes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service is provided to customers in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence by adhering to agreed standard operating procedures and making suggestions for improvements.
