Core responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Reinsurance accounting including analysis of reinsurance recoveries
• Regulatory and branch reporting
• Process improvement projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

They require a qualified accountant with a strong background in insurance to be responsible for the reporting for a number of their insurance entities. As well as the reporting required this roles includes extensive internal business partnering including underwriting, claims and intrnaional operations. You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACCA or CIMA) with demonstrable experience of accounting within an insurance environment including preparation of management and statutory accounts.
