Our client is a fantastic, global business growing rapidly after an international acquisition a number of years ago. Based in their shared service Centre in Blackburn, this role is available as the current person has been promoted internally. This is a permanent position and we are looking for a strong pro-active problem solver who is capable of using their initiative and working independently with little supervision. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be fully immersed in all reporting, forecasting and analysis whilst assisting with process improvements along the way
Role:
Delivering consolidated and reconciled management reporting and analysis each month
Coordinating input from international Finance Directors to meet group deadlines
Full reporting across 3 entities operating in the group, consolidating to group format
Setting and management of reporting timetables to ensure consistent and standardized reporting for financial results
Producing business review slides for board meetings monthly
Collating rolling forecasts and presenting explanation on trends
Preparing consolidated weekly sales flash reports. Liaising with all teams on forecasting and tracking of CAPEX
Actively involved in development of standardized models using reporting on Power BI
Improving and aligning processes as business grows, creating documented SOP's
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIMA/ACCA qualified or 1-2 exams remaining. Reporting, analysis and consolidation experience essential. Experience within manufacturing with standard costing highly desirable. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Advanced Excel skills. Experience of SAP and Power BI highly desirable.
