Working within a team to provide administrative & customer service support to both internal & external customers.
Communicate effectively in a professional manner with customers to ensure their quotations and traffic requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions.
Maintain & achieve agreed customer service levels, providing feedback to sales functions & your line manager where required
Dealing with customers via telephone & email to book deliveries & keeping them up to date with progress
Dealing with queries from customers, rectifying & keeping both the customer & management team fully up to date on progress
Preparing correct documention to the warehouse-haulage-distribution and shipping department for loading/off loading cargo to vehicles in a timely manner
Assisting the accounts Dept with data input for invoicing when required
In conjunction with others, plan collection or deliveries to meet the customers or their customers needs or requirements to the best effective use of all resources, in a timely and efficient manner.
Spot quotations via telephone & email - ensuring quotes, jobs & costings are entered correctly & in a timely manner onto the system.
Creating customer KPI reports, feedback & suggesting changes where required.
Maintain awareness of and follow transport (and H.M. Customs) regulations where relevant to conform to all statutory requirements
Collating of POD's checking, filing & sending to customers if required
