We are actively seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a highly reputable, award-winning Financial Services company based in Northwich.

Reporting to the Financial Controller based in London, this role will assist in the preparation of Financial Information and production of internal regulatory reports at Group level to Senior Management.

This position comes at a very exciting time as the company is going through huge growth with great plans for the future. This is a newly created position on an initial 9 month contract with a view to go permanent.

You will be involved in a very broad remit:

• Production of accurate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual PRA/FCA (017, 038, PRA110 and PRA104 - 108), MFSD (Form BT, CL, CC and ELS), COREP (e.g. C69 and C70) and Central Bank returns with adequate supporting evidence
• Preparation of daily reports, with analysis of significant movements and reconciliation of the ILAAP to Net assets.
• Weekly Monitoring of capital requirements
• Preparation of ALMM reports
• Development and maintenance of robust MI system for regulatory reporting including the update of static tables in regulatory reporting application.
• Monthly review of static data within the core banking application
• Systems and procedure documentation.
• To develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments
• Reporting on developments in the regulatory environment
• UAT testing specially around new products/returns on regulatory reporting and core banking systems
• Maintenances on the core banking application.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified or Part Qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Up to date knowledge of FCA reporting and regulatory requirements. Experience related to regulatory reporting process and systems. Solid accounting knowledge. Experience within the banking sector. Advanced excel knowledge (Pivot tables, Lookup functions, Macros).
