Job Description

What will this role involve?

  • To provide commercial support to the Finance and Commercial Director, the Executive and the Senior Management
  • Advise on the delivery of the Franchise obligations and other more general commercial and legal matters.
  • To lead the Commercial and legal function to ensure KAMs compliance with the Franchise Agreement.
  • Be the focal point for all commercial and legal interaction with the client
  • To ensure that necessary contracts are in place and support procurement with the negotiation of supplier contractual terms, so that the Franchisee can deliver fully its obligations under the Franchise Agreement.
  • To develop a constructive relationship with the client which is based on a shared vision of collaboration and consistent compliance with our legal and contractual duties and obligations.
  • To enhance the commercial and legal function and further embed a greater level of understanding throughout the business.
  • To advise KAM management on the detail of the Franchise Agreement, identifying risks and opportunities as they arise.
  • To advise and support KAM management on general legal queries.
  • To liaise closely with the KAM Executive and Senior Management Group in relation to negotiations with the client, provide support on negotiating strategies and tactics, attend negotiations and support follow up actions.
  • To provide a focal point for all Commercial and Legal interaction with the Client and other third parties
  • Liaise with Keolis group legal to ensure best practice and uniformity across the business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience at a senior commercial level of working within a service delivery organization. Experience of operating within complex contract arrangements in a commercial environment with a focus on delivery. Experience of managing contract compliance and assessing/minimizing business risk. Experience of maximizing business potential by developing opportunities. Good knowledge of contract law. The ability to form excellent relationships both internally and externally. Qualification: Qualified Accountant or relevant degree in Business or Law.
