This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well known organisation where you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of new financial systems and reporting for the business.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and documenting current financial system processes and procedures
• Producing financial system workflow documentation
• Mapping the current chart of accounts and project reporting structures and dependencies
• Assisting with and setting up and documenting a new chart of accounts and reporting structure based on business requirements
• To manage the transition to the new accounting system
• To create and document financial process flows for a new finance system
• Post implementation support for the financial modelling and main accounting system
• To collate financial information into relevant formats for implementing into financial modelling software
• To document rules and dependencies for financial modelling software
• To assist with report design on the financial modelling software

As the ideal candidate, you will have knowledge of a variety of finance systems including cloud based systems and be either ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA Qualified. Furthermore, you will have demonstrable experience working as an accountant focused on system implementation and improvement. Experience in the charity or social enterprise sector would be an advantage, however this is not essential.

You must have the ability to work in a complex finance role, with strong technical knowledge of statutory, accounting with a system process mapping focus. Financial modelling experience and a strong understanding of project accounting will put you at good stead. Candidates with excellent financial analysis skills. and having the ability to evaluate, analyse and improve financial systems and processes will be favoured. You will be an advanced user of excel, possess strong accounting principles coupled with demonstrable systems implementation experience.

This role will be predominantly working from home, however travel to the office may be required once or twice per week.
