Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, analysing and reporting on performance and commenting on variances
• Taking ownership of all month end accounting processes
• Perform a critical assessment of Work In Progress (WIP) at each month end and provide the financial summaries which accurately reflect the status of all ongoing contracts to completion
• Preparing annual financial budget for review and report variances
• Monitoring daily cash movements and cashflow management and planning

Benefits

Salary £50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Construction industry experience would be highly desirable / hands on familiarity with project accounting / WIP Demonstrable experience of management and financial accounting in a commercial environment Advanced Excel skills Outstanding interpersonal and team management skills
