Your New Role As Group Management Accountant:
As Group Management Accountant you shall provide timely and accurate board pack detail and analysis to track performance and make optimal business decisions. Along with analytics and insight to help drive business decisions, this position will support operations and require you to act as a business partner with various teams on site and also across sites based in the North. You shall be responsible for the inventory management, including the design and effectiveness of the related financial controls and provide analysis of costing and productivity/efficiency savings – product costing, cost rate setting, and manufacturing efficiency. As Management Accountant you shall seek to improve process and hold responsibilities for financial reporting requirements, including monthly and year-end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and the development of the annual budget. The lead on production of monthly management accounts you shall also support 2 junior staff and be part of their development long-term.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You shall be a qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a minimum of three years’ experience in Manufacturing accounting. Fully conversant with UK statutory reporting requirements you shall have experience of developing and implementing internal control frameworks and experience of working to tight reporting deadlines.
