Job Description

Working closely with the business owners and it’s a real opportunity to shape and mould the finance function and be a key part of the future success of the business. As a less than £10m t/o business this role will initially require you to be hands on whilst you build on the current finance team. The scope of the role is broad and will include:

• Input to strategic decision making, looking at everything from new product offerings, new sector opportunities and end to end service delivery
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with the board and internal stakeholders
• Managing and developing a best-in-class finance function, fit to deliver the planned growth

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be considered for this role you will ideally be qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a progressive career to date and experience of leading a finance function. You should be a strong communicator, highly commercial and able to influence at all levels. You should also be able to demonstrate a good level of ambition with a keenness to move towards a board level role within the short to medium term.
