The role requires strong knowledge of UK GAAP combined with excellent reporting and analytical skills. Our client seeks either ACCA or CIMA Qualified or Part qualified candidates eager to take the next step in the career, Further duties will Include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing 2 members of staff in the management accounts team
• Completion of monthly management accounts
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting & quarterly forecasting
• Profitability reporting
• Business partnering senior stakeholders within the business - including Client Development & Retention
• Assist wider Finance department when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified Accountant nearing the end of your studies (e.g. CIMA or ACCA) Experience in a corporate Finance function Commercial awareness Ability to explain Financial performance to non-financial management Strong attention to detail Ability to understand internal processes quickly Ability to analyse financial data The ability to work effectively within a team and solo when necessary Strong communication skills
