We have been instructed on a fantastic opportunity with a leading firm of accountants in Stockport who are seeking an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting on external audits
• Audit planning, field work and stock takes
• Year-end statutory accounts preparation
• Preparation of corporation tax computations
• Visiting clients at their premises
• Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
• AAT Qualified also considered
• Knowledge of FRS 102 UK GAAP
• Experience of working in practice is essential
• Experience of assisting on Audit assignments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will be experienced in assisting with external audit assignments of a variety of clients, the preparation of year-end financial statements and will be studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.
