Job Description

As part of the Costing Team, you will provide Financial Control and key financial management support to the large and diverse Clinical Division. The post holder will provide managers with high quality financial management information to meet the needs of the Trust, enabling it to deliver value for money and achieve its challenging financial targets. This includes providing expert costing advice, supporting National Cost Collection submissions, play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Trust’s financial plan and Cost Improvement Programme.

We are looking for Individuals with drive, ambition and a passion for excellence. Ideally you will have previous NHS costing experience, and possess a desire to work within a progressive organization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and explain financial concepts and information to non-financial managers, and an ability to demonstrate initiative. Excellent communication and IT skills (including Microsoft Excel) are also essential. Critical to the role is the ability to develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to challenge and influence others.
