Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of annual Budget and Forecast
• Analytical Review of P&L & Preparation of Variance Analysis actuals vs budgets
• Oversight of Year End Accounts prep & consolidations managing external accountants
• Management of year end and audit work including preparation of lead schedules, reconciliation etc. to share with external accountants and answering any queries
• Payroll review and posting payroll information to GL
• Entering bank transactions onto GL
• Assist in cash flow reporting
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• UK VAT Return Preparation & Submission
• Work with the accounting teams to calculate and confirm intercompany recharges, and to prepare recharge invoices.
• Help guide the business teams through finance processes and be able to effectively represent the Finance Team as ambassador across the business

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2+ years PQE Strong attention to detail essential Confident in building relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues and senior management Excellent Excel skills Independent worker able to take ownership A background in the media/creative industries
