We’re seeking a Senior Accountant on a full time, mostly remote, basis to support the future growth of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a role with a high level of responsibility. You will report directly to both the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer.
Role Summary
This role will involve working closely with the Principal and his management team to ensure the financials are all in order and the business and family interests developed.
Responsibilities
Full management of bookkeeping from transaction level, to include Purchase Ledger including posting of invoices and expenses, preparing and uploading payment runs into the banking system, and preparation of bank reconciliations
Preparation and Submission of Quarterly VAT returns and ensuring timely invoicing of services to both external clients and other group companies with a view to maintaining a steady cash balance
Preparation of Cash Flow
Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasting
Preparation of month end management accounts with comparison to budget and variance analysis.
Ownership of company insurances and other office costs
Working closely with counterparts in Switzerland

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent academic pedigree You are commercially minded, with the ability to work largely autonomously, managing your time and workload appropriately and effectively. A demonstrable track record in a recognisable financial institution or financial services business. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a team and discuss views with confidence and reason. Qualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferably having qualified with one of the Big Four) A minimum of a 2:1 degree or equivalent
