Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to support the team with the production of technical reports and the calculation of financial information to support their clients in completing claims.

Role and Responsibilities for the role of Financial Analyst:

• Genuine commitment and passion to develop in a growing industry, with the aim of helping SME’s and large clients to successfully claim refund/credits;
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Excellent user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
• A co-operative and flexible approach to working with others to meet agreed objectives and deadlines;
• Proven self-management skills enabling the role holder to set and manage their own priorities;
• Exposure to an accounting/finance environment would advantageous, however this role will enable you to work independently and learn and develop new skills through full training;
• Have excellent communication skills as you will be supporting and working closely with clients and their accountants;
• Be highly organized, ambitious with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn;
• Liaise with the clients and/or their professional advisers to obtain information required to prepare financial summaries;
• Producing summary reports and presentations for clients;

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Degree level or equivalent educated in Economics, Finance, Accountancy or Business or similar. Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business. Advanced Excel. First class communication skills to liaise at Director level. Background in financial or accountancy environment ideal but not essential.
