Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Finance team during a period of exciting growth and change. This role is important as you will be providing a finance support service to all departments within the College and customer service to staff, members, external customers and suppliers.

Your main responsibilities will include processing income from events, examinations subscriptions and other College or trading activities and preparing daily bank reconciliations whilst maintaining efficient department processes and filing systems. In addition, you will contribute to the month end management accounts by preparing analysis and reconciliations.

We are looking for a team player with a friendly approach and can do attitude. The Finance team are proactive, professional, calm and hardworking. We are looking for someone who is ready to come in and deliver an excellent service to all of our internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles, previous experience of finance administrative processes and an aptitude for learning new processes and finance systems.

Good written and verbal communication skills and an attention to detail are a must, as well as experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook.
