Job Description

Due to our rapid recent and continuing growth we are looking for a Full time Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team.

• Are you enthusiastic about accountancy and an experienced bookkeeper?

• Are you AAT (level 3 or above) IAB, ICB or ACCA part qualified?

• 5 years plus experience working in an accountancy practice at a senior level?

• Do you prepare Limited Company accounts to at least preparation/review of pre signing of published account?

• Do you have Quickbooks and Freeagent advanced understanding?

• Do you have the potential to nurture and educate junior members of staff and review their work?

• Do you have the drive, hunger and wiliness to learn?

• Are you able to work remotely from your home if necessary?

• If you wish to work full time in our offices do you live in the Leighton Buzzard area and do you have a driving licence?

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is currently at least nearing completion of either AAT, IAB or ICB or part qualified ACCA qualifications to prepare published accounts for limited companies, review more junior members submissions so they are ready for the senior Accountant to sign them off. We need someone who has a serious desire to progress professionally. We have tons of support and advice to offer to the right candidate to aid with that progression.
