Your new role
In this Manchester based semi senior accountant job you will be required to work with a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships with just about all clients being on Xero. The role will see you prepare year-end accounts for clients with turnovers into the millions, prepare monthly management accounts and undertake bookkeeping duties. You will be required to liaise with the clients on a daily basis via email and telephone and occasionally face to face (when appropriate and after Covid-19 situation). As mentioned, you will be using Xero software day in day out and will be a real master on the software.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The partners are seeking an individual that has accounts and bookkeeping experience in an accountancy practice setting. You will need to ideally be AAT level 3-4 or above. As you will be joining a friendly team and supporting the rest of the team with high volumes of work you will need to possess a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. You must be able to prioritise your workload and be able to work to deadlines and targets.
