Job Description
The Financial Accountant will be required to undertake the following tasks:
Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts for the Group
Track costs against Budget to identify cost savings/ efficiencies
Monthly reporting and financial analysis on P&L and Balance sheet
Prepare quarterly financial reporting information for investors
Ownership of the parent company P&L and balance sheet and checking accuracy
Perform audit quality reconciliations across P&L and balance sheet
Review accounting policies and check financial statement in line with accounting standards
Support with internal and external audit requirements
Review and set up weekly payment runs
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Liaise with third parties i.e. External auditors, banks, HMRC
Support and cover the Finance Controller with any other ad-hoc duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Degree educated, not necessarily in accounting, with at least 2:1 or above Strong technical reporting and Excel skills Ability to work under pressure in a very fast paced, agile environment Ability to adapt to change Must have experience in a similar accounting role, in a similar sized company and team with exposure to foreign currency
