Ideally they are looking for somebody with some leadership and management experience although they would consider candidates with purely extremely strong commercial property accounts experience.
The role will include the following main duties and responsibilities:
Prepare and submit statements for Owners, VAT reports and other required information for the client
Work closely with the senior leadership team within Property Management ensuring cohesive assistance is provided
Responsible for line management of a small team (Assistant Client Accountants), motivating people and ensuring deadlines and goals are met as a unit
Produce and reconcile monthly and quarterly reporting including trial balance and aged debt
Ensure all monies are received and accounted for in accordance with RICS regulations
Update systems and relevant teams in accordance with surveying and property management team instructions
This position is looking for somebody who wants to take ownership of a portfolio and ensure delivery of a good service to the client by working seamlessly with those also responsible for the maintenance and management of the properties. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong commercial property accounting experience where they have been in a client facing role Knowledgeable on all necessary legislation and guidelines required Comprehensive service charge and client accounting experience Prior experience managing your own designated portfolio in which you are accountable for Exposure in previously setting up new clients and properties on a new system
