In this role, you'll develop your abilities to interpret and present information. Your reports won't fall on deaf ears and you won't lose sight of your work: you'll take responsibility for preparing timely and meaningful information that you'll use to guide operational managers, helping them to understand their key financial and performance metrics.
You'll be based at an easily accessible location that doesn't suffer from traffic congestion, so no more battling with traffic. This is perfect for a commute from Durham, Sunderland or Chester-le-Street, and even an easy trip from Gateshead. If you're happy to drive for the right job, you'll reach here from Newcastle, north of Darlington, Stockton or north Teesside in 30-40 minutes.

You'll need good communication skills and strong Excel skills. If you like hiding behind spreadsheets that already exist, or don't want to be challenged, this isn't the job for you. You'll need to develop new reports and have the confidence in your analysis to stand up to interrogation by your financial mentors and senior management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You'll more than likely be a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA), with experience of preparing management accounts and analysis, and you'll be looking for the next bold step in your accounting career.
