Are you a small firm bookkeeper or accounts assistant with one to two years experience in bookkeeping, preparing Vat returns and possibly assisting with the production of accounts or tax returns? Are you looking to join a small accountancy firm based in Zone 1 Central London which will provide you with training and support to help you become a better all round accountant? Based in a small yet growing team, you will gain exposure to client sectors including property, international businesses, retailers, technology start ups, and entertainment and media clients. You will work with a mixture of private clients as well as corporate businesses. Your role will be varied and will be split between general bookkeeping duties using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks, VAT returns, offering clients advice, and various reports, analysis and business management assignments for a wide range of very interesting clients. You will quickly gain exposure to the preparation of accounts and tax returns if you don’t already have this experience. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a growing team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future. To be considered for this new role you must have at least 1 – 2 years of bookkeeping and VAT experience in a small or medium sized practice firm. It is likely you will be studying AAT but this firm is mainly interested in experience. You must have used a wide range of software packages, including CCH and Sage, would be an advantage. A strong interest in working with London based SME and OMB clients is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
