Job Description

The Role

  • Use of Receiptbank for invoice collection. (entering of invoicing)
  • Management of Debtors/Creditors.
  • Day to Day provision of payment resource to the Purchasing department.
  • Generation of Sales Invoices.
  • Inputting of Journals, Month end and Year end.
  • Preparation and submitting VAT returns.
  • Payroll preparation. (including vetting of timesheets)
  • Bulk payment runs using Online Banking.
  • Bank account Reconciliation.
  • Preparation of reports for P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Preparation of Management accounts. (Preferred but not essential)
  • Good office management skills.
  • Point of contact for all account’s enquiries from customers and suppliers.
  • Accounts auditing assistance with the relevant authorities.
  • Assistance with Travel and expenses for Personnel. (Flights, Hotels, etc)
  • Preparation of Financial plans and cashflow.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be self-motivated and enthusiastic Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Have excellent interpersonal skill Be able to work on their own initiative and as member of a team Be able to work to deadlines Have excellent attention to detail. Motivated to achieve customer satisfaction. Proficient use of Sage Line 50 (Formal Sage training or 5+ yrs experience) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite. (Excel, Work and Outlook) Relevant Accounting qualifications (AAT Level 3 or above)
