Job Description
Joining as a senior member of the firm and working closely with the Partners of the firm, you will be responsible for managing clients and overseeing the work of the team.
Duties include:
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities, limited liability partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standard;
- Leading audits from planning stage up to manager/ partner review
- Ensuring assignments are completed within the allocated budget and on time;
- Provide assistance in the development of junior staff and review work undertaken by junior staff.
- Where required to liaise with clients to resolve any queries.
- Ad hoc projects and support to other specialists in the firm.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The applicant should be ideally qualified or part qualified and possess 3 to 4 years’ practice experience. 2-3 years of audit experience. Experience of supervising staff, perhaps you will have experience of working as a senior but be looking for a managerial level role. Excellent attention to detail. Proven analytical skills.. Good computer skills. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Ability to work as part of a team, yet also work using own initiative when required.
