We are currently recruiting for the role of Management Accountant who will support, control and manage the businesses finances within the Finance Team. You will be required to prepare management accounts and end of year accounts. You will also be responsible for Tax reporting and compliance and Auditing and oversight.
Duties
Supervise the administration of the sales and purchase ledgers
Prepare the monthly management accounts for all businesses.
Lead the preparation of the year end accounts
Liaise with the external Accountant in relation to year end, company taxation and other areas.
Lead the preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT returns
Coach, develop and direct the finance team has appropriate
Approach change positively and adapt to change; a change in focus, systems, business need etc.
Undertake continuous learning and development.
Priorities tasks well for self and the wider team.
Analyze financial information to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Engage key service in the organization to ensure appropriate processes and policies are in place.
Audit
Audits accounts and work completed by colleagues to provide performance support and embed a culture of continuous improvement
Validate expense claims
Lead stock takes and analyses discrepancies
Lead audits of fixed assets
Complete substantive and analytics reviews
Provide Governance and Control process monitoring
