- Accurately processing all supplier documentation (delivery notes, invoices and credit notes) on company accounts software
- To update and maintain files and electronic records
- To maintain stock file daily (updating prices, recording purchases and transfers, flagging up anomalies)
- To ensuring that weekly accounts are accurately recorded and ready for closing
- To maintain clear and accurate financial records
- To record daily takings (bank card, cash and internal issues)
- To operate the back of house till software, running reports, creating PLUs and sending data to the tills when needed
- Monthly cash collection from vending machines (including recoding and monitoring stock levels and reporting any errors)
- To makes sure that all accounts balance at the end of the day/week (daily sales, cashbook)
- To bank the cash/cheques on a weekly basis via G4S
- To ensure that the company and statutory regulations pertaining to the safe operation of the unit are adhered to at all times
- Additional ad-hoc tasks as required
Personal Spec
- Effective Communicator both verbally and non-verbally
- Must have the ability to work using your own initiative in a clear concise fashion and as part of the wider team
- Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel with confidence
- Methodical and able to plan and work well under pressure
- Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure set tasks and timeframes are maintained
- The ability to work closely with the accounts manager in strategic planning of the account figures and the ability to tackle issues as they arise
- Organised and enthusiastic with a keen eye for financial detail
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to in-house systems
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel with confidence, Experience in same manner
