Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk - Maternity Cover 9-12 month contract. OUR CLIENT is aprivate real estate investor and family office who have amassed a large mixed-use real estate portfolio in London and the south over the years and are now responsible for a sizeable commercial property portfolio and its related portfolio management. They now seek a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a team of 3 to cover Maternity Leave for 9-12 months.

The Role:

  • Inputting supplier invoices to Invoice Register.
  • Liaising with property managers and maintenance team on purchase orders and monitoring invoice approval process.
  • Responsible for the Council tax and business rates approval process.
  • Recording invoice approved onto the Property Management System.
  • Setting-up batch payment import files and importing to online banking.
  • Allocating direct debit payments.
  • Liaising with the bank reconciliation team.
  • Handling emails and phone calls from suppliers.

The Person: To apply you MUST be available immediately or at short notice to take on this contract role for 9-12 months and it would be preferred if the individual has previous experience of working for a property/real estate company. The successful candidate MUST be experienced in purchase ledger/Accounts Payable and the whole process of coding, batching and processing invoices onto a property management system such as Tramps/QUBE/Yardi.
