Job Description

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and attention to detail as well as excellent Accounting experience. As Client Accountant you will work closely with the Partner in charge of the portfolio, liaising with the clients and the Accounts team to ensure all work is completed on time to a high standard and relayed back with effective advice and planning.

Senior Accountant Position Overview

Manage a portfolio

Work closely with Senior Partner and attend client meetings

Prepare and review Statutory Accounts

Prepare and review Tax Returns

Prepare and review VAT

Filing of accounts

Liaising with HMRC and Companies House

Assist with training Juniors

Using IRIS, Sage and Xero programs

Ad-Hoc Duties as required

Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Working Hours: Full Time,

Permanent

Demonstrable experience within a UK Accountancy Practice Previous experience with IRIS, Sage or Xero beneficial AAT Qualification beneficial ACCA or ACA beneficial Excellent communication and attention to detail Minimum 5 years experience within UK Accountancy Practice
