Job Description

This is a new and exciting role due where you will be instrumental to the success of the finance team in an ever changing, fast paced and dynamic environment.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Line manager to a trainee accountant
• Preparation of statutory accounts for the main trading business
• Ownership of the balance sheet, including preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Owner of the cashflow forecast and related reporting
• Support the Financial Controller with the finance transformation projects
• Preparation of any ad-hoc requests from Senior Management
• Compliance with legal and statutory requirements (incl. VAT returns)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Part Qualified/Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA - final year preferable and will also consider newly qualified) Experience of large businesses with fast-paced environment an advantage Highly analytical with attention to detail Excellent IT skills, including MS excel, and evidence of embracing technology to improve performance & deliver growth Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at senior level
