Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
Working closely with senior finance colleagues and budget holders to ensure up to date and accurate finance information is communicated effectively.
Produce the monthly management accounts.
Support the production of the monthly financial reporting. This includes at a cost centre level, the production of budget reports, variance analysis, forecasting and QIPP reporting.
Support senior management in performance reporting, monitoring, contract negotiations, and financial planning.
Working closely with senior finance colleagues and budget holders to ensure up to date and accurate finance information is communicated effectively.
Ensure strong financial governance is achieved across the CCG.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of management accounting within a commissioning environment. A CCAB part qualification or full qualification Good Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets. Strong communication skills.
