Job Description

This Pricing analyst job is multi-faceted and partly involves developing clear product price targets based on history, competition and financial improvement perspectives. You'll also ensure logical alignment with product management defined floor price levels.

Daily duties include:

* Data Management: Creating and maintaining data in relation to multiple global standard price lists, product costs, etc.
* Providing Guidance: Communicating effectively with sales teams to ensure they have sufficient latest information to help them make pricing decisions.
* Setting Targets: Developing clear product price targets based on history, competition and financial improvement perspectives and ensuring logical alignment with Product Management defined floor price levels.
* Review Quotations: Provide cover or support to review/approve/reject quotations that fall outside standard guidelines, based on current, true costings - developing parameters for decision making escalation as needed.
* Cross Functional Co-ordination: Working closely with Sales and Product Management teams to ensure that goals, challenges, strategies and responses are managed in a fully collaborative and transparent manner.
* Reporting: Delivering reports, including Ad-hoc reporting, that help Sales Teams understand price positioning and help drive price improvement and consistency
* Problem Resolution: Engage with all parties regularly to identify problems and process improvement opportunities.
* Compliance - Assist as needed with current and any new compliance requirements
This role will suit someone with a background in Maths or Economics, with a strong analytical skills , as well as, the gravitas to influence people. In particular you'll be required to analyse the current situation, challenge and ultimately improve upon the current processes.
