Job Description

A modern firm of accountants based in South Liverpool is looking to recruit an experienced Practice Accountant to join their professional and friendly team.  
 
Reporting directly to the Partner, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of owner managed businesses, predominantly limited companies between £50k to £5m turnover, across a range of industry sectors.
 
You will be the first point of contact for the clients, dealing with day to day queries alongside ensuring all compliance work is completed to a high standard and to deadline.
 
Experience of working with clients within the Property Development sector would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities include:
 
·Year-end accounts production
·Quarterly VAT returns
·Self-assessment tax returns
·Monthly Payroll
·CIS returns
·Dealing with ad-hoc queries
·Managing the workflow for junior team members

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·A wealth of accounts preparation and taxation experience, gained from general practice ·Either qualified or qualified by experience ·Good IT skills and knowledge of a variety of accounting packages including Xero ·Confident and professional manner - ability to work face to face with clients from Day One.
