The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a varied client base in this fantastically broad role, getting involved with an interesting and very diverse mix of clients

This role demands someone with excellent communication and organisational skills as well as a solid grounding in Accountancy Practice and Accounts Production. Those will a working knowledge of corporation, and personal tax will have a competitive edge.

Candidates with all of the above experience and a desire to progress within Practice will be highly suited for this Semi Senior position. Qualified by experienced Accountants are encouraged to apply and those currently studying ACCA will be offered full study support. You must have experience preparing accounts under FRS 102 and 105.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview

Preparation of VAT returns for a mixed bag of clients

Personal tax return preparation as well as income and expenditure accounts

Preparation of Payroll for a small portfolio at month end (10 clients)

Accounts Production under FRS 102 and 105

Using Sage / Xero / QuickBooks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2 to 3 years' experience in and Accountancy Practice is Essential Experience producing accounts under FRS 102 and 105 Experience with Sage Xero and QuickBooks at a basic level is desirable PTP tax software experience is beneficial but certainly not essential
